Senior Associate
Gian Filippo is a Senior Associate in the [Banking and Finance Team] and he has a consolidated expertise in project finance transactions in the energy and infrastructure sphere, as well as in asset finance, bond issuance, refinancing and leasing transactions with a particular emphasis on renewables.
He provides legal assistance to both Italian and foreign credit institutions, borrowers and sponsors, in structuring financing and refinancing transactions, acquisition, issuance of bonds on national and cross-border transactions. He is involved in drafting and negotiating the relevant finance documents and related security documents as well as in providing the draft of project contracts and following the ancillary due diligence activities.
Gian Filippo also counsels clients on general corporate matters and day-to-day operating matters, including contracts management and other related legal matters.
Prior to join Green Horse, Gian Filippo has worked in some of the most recognised Italian and International firm in Milan.

Representative transactions Gian Filippo has recently advised include assistance to:
- leading real estate investment fund in respect of the financing and security arrangements aimed to the purchase and the refurbishing of a real estate property;
- leading Italian bank in structuring and drafting all the documentation related to a series bond issue transaction aimed to a future securitization;
- leading company operating in the Oil&Gas market in a financing transaction aimed, inter alia, to the acquisition of target companies.
- leading shipping company in relation to 3 facilities agreements aimed to the purchase of 3 cruise ships;
- leading company active in the energy sector for the acquisition of a target company;
- leading Italian bank in relation to a real estate financing to a SIIQ (Società di Investimento Immobiliare Quotate) for the acquisition and renovation of a property in Milan.
